Hubert "Buck" Ainsworth passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2016, at his home in Jackson, MS. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 12:30 pm to 2:00 pm at Lakewood Funeral Home with a graveside service immediately following at Lakewood Memorial Park.

Buck was born on April 9, 1922 in Taylorsville, MS to the late, Clyde and Ruby Cargile Ainsworth. He served his country during WWII from 1942-1945 in the United States Army. He served in the Philippines in the 112th Calvary where he received the Bronze Star. He was a member of the Pearl Masonic Lodge. Buck worked for The Keebler Company for 38 years.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Katherine Ainsworth; brother, Ray Ainsworth; sisters, Fredna Ainsworth and Rudean Ainsworth.

He is survived by son, Bruce Ainsworth (Melanie); daughter, Gina Ainsworth Brooks; grandchildren, Kellie Rush, Austin Brooks and Ashley Brooks.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
