Peggy Atkins Archenhold, 91, of Greenville, died Thursday, Sept. 16, 2004.

Born in Inola, Okla., she was the daughter of the late Herbert and Olive Mae Spainhower Atkins.

She was a homemaker and a member of First Presbyterian Church, Greenville, as well as a member of PEO.

Special thanks to the Reminiscent unit of Brighten Gardens, Greenville for their love and care they showed during Peggy's stay there.

She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Kathy Archenhold, of Duncan; a brother, Sean MacDuff, of Oxford, N.C.; and two grandchildren, Travis Archenhold and his wife, Brooke, and Tracy Archenhold.

She was predeceased by her husband, Col. Stanley Archenhold.

Services will be today, Sept. 18, 2004, at 3 p.m. in the chapel of Woodlawn Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park

Visitation will be one hour before the service in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of the Upstate, 301 University Ridge, Greenville, SC 29601
