Violet Grace Jump, 94, of 200 26th Street, Logansport, IN, formerly of Star City, IN, passed away at 5:30 PM Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport, IN.
She was born May 25, 1912, in North Judson, IN, to Harmon and Clara Scales Henry. She married Robert Harold Jump on June 6, 1930, in Winamac, IN. He died July 3, 1968.
She was a member of the Star City United Methodist Church, Thornhope Circle, Victor Chapel Circle, Pulaski County Farm Bureau, and a Bunco Club.
She lived in the Star City area all of her life.
She was retired after 42 years as a cook at the Eastern Pulaski Elementary School and the Star City Elementary School.
