Born in Bronx, NY, Mrs. Lee retired from Virginia Beach Schools as a secretary. She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church and Chesapeake New Comers.
She is survived by her husband, Howard V. Lee of Virginia Beach, VA; four children, Edward J. Lee of Norfolk, VA, Linda M. Dowty of Orlando, FL, Michael J. Lee of Valencia, CA and Laura J. Willey of Virginia Beach, VA; nine grandchildren, Jennifer Dowty, Ryan Lee, Jordan Dowty, Kate Lee, Jack Lee, Paige Lee, Cooper Willey, Ian Willey and Megan Willey; and two sisters, Linda Keogh of Virginia Beach, VA and Terri Tatroe of Brookfield, CT.
A funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. on Friday at St. Matthews Catholic Church with Fr. Joseph Facura officiating. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Kempsville Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
