Evelyn died on June 1, 2016, in her home, surrounded by her family. She was born in Dublin, Virginia, and moved to Annapolis, Maryland in her youth.
Evelyn and her husband, Philip P. Gerrior, Sr., founded "Gerrior's Nursery and Garden Center" where she served as their President. Evelyn was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the Fleet Reserve Club in Annapolis.
Their children: Philip (Toni) P. Gerrior, Jr., Donna MacDonald, and Kimberly (Michael) O'Brien.
Evelyn is survived also by grandchildren: Philip (Kata)P. Gerrior, III, Christopher Gerrior, Natalie Gerrior, Alison MacDonald, Brendan O'Brien, and Lucia O'Brien.
Mrs. Gerrior's services were held at the First Baptist Church of Eastport, Annapolis, Maryland, with burial in Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, Maryland.
