Mrs. Abercrombie was born January 28, 1921 in Johnson County to Mr. Manus and Laura (Rogers) Pledger.
Annie enjoyed gardening, fishing, quilting, crocheting, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, whom she married December 3, 1938, John H. Abercrombie; one son Charles Dean Abercrombie; son in law, J.D. Bradford; and grandson, David Earl Bradford.
Mrs. Abercrombie is survived by two daughters, Ruby Ann Bradford of Clinton, and Shirley Mae (Gary) Daniels of London; daughter in law, Doris Jean Abercrombie of Ozark; three grandchildren, Leanna Jo (John) Baker, Harold Dean Abercrombie, Sadie Ann (Joe) Cargile; step-granddaughter, Stephanie (Roger) Hollinger; several great and great-great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at the Roller-Cox Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Charles Howington officiating.
Interment will follow in the Jackson Cemetery with Gary Daniels, John Baker, Harold Parker, Jeremy Biggs, Roger Hollinger, and Joe Cargile serving as pallbearers.
