Professional Football Player. He was a running back in the National Football League for six seasons (1968 to 1969, 1971 to 1974) with the Cleveland Browns, Miami Dolphins and Green Bay Packers. He was a member of two Super Bowl Championship teams (1973 and 1974 Dolphins). During the 1972 season, in which the Dolphins were a perfect 14 and 0 (17 and 0 including post season games), Leigh was primarily used as a return specialist and had 22 punt returns for 210 yards. In 80 career regular season games, Leigh had 72 rushes for 372 yards with 2 touchdowns, 46 kickoff returns for 1082 yards and 50 punt returns for 368 yards. Cause of death: Lung cancer.
