Bob was born in La Junta, Colorado. He moved to Redding, California as a small boy and remained in the area his entire, productive, happy life. He passed peacefully at his ranch in Bella Vista where he resided for the past 37 years.

Besides being a very nice person, he was a meat cutter by trade. After serving time in the US Army as a paratrooper jump instructor, he co-founded R & R Quality Meats in 1971. Always being a visionary he saw a need for feeding and supporting disasters. In 1980 he took this new idea and created mobile kitchens and support equipment to feed up to 3000 firefighters per meal. Both businesses have been sold but both new owners chose to carry the name because of the high standard & quality Bob set many years ago. He retired at 80 years old with hobbies included ranching, cattle & classic cars.

His sense of humor, quick wit, kindness and brilliant mind will be missed by many including siblings: Nita (Lee) Parisotto, Sharon Vesci, Alan (Clara) Blagg, Char (Dennis) Vandervort. Also Vicki Pelletier, Lee Martinez, Beverly Colley, many nieces, nephews and friends.

He was pre-deceased by his wife, of 53 years, Linda in 2012.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to any 4-H Club of your choice or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society .
