Mrs.Rosa Brown, resident of Gainesville for the past 27 years died early today at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Clark D. Watson, 3501 NW 5th St.
Mrs. Brown was the mother of several Gainesville residents. Funeral services will be announced later by the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home.

LAST RITES SET FOR MRS. BROWN
Mrs. Rosa Brown, 87 year old housewife of 3501 NW 5th St., died yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clark D. Watson, following an extended illness.
Funeral will be held tomorrow at 2 pm at the Williams-Thomas Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Dr. U.S. Gordon of the first presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Mrs. Brown, widow of the late Cornelius C. Brown, moved to Gainesville in 1929. She was born in Escambia County, Ala., April 17, 1869, and was a member of the first Christian Church.
Survivors include five children; Mrs. watson, Mrs. Harry L. Tillis, Mrs. Roy Tillis, Mrs. F.W. Vipperman, Mrs. Louise Brown, Mrs. w.C. Jernigan, all of Gainesville, C.J. Brown and V.A.Brown of Mobile.
