Warren F. Anthony, 86, of Snyders Road, Palmerton, Towamensing Township, died Sunday evening, May 8, 2016, in his home. He was the husband of Phyllis M. (Borger) Anthony since Nov. 5, 1950.
Warren worked as a load operator for the former Bethlehem Steel Corporation for over 34 years, retiring in 1991.
Born in Aquashicola, Lower Towamensing Township, he was a son of the late Warren R. and Elsie I. (Buskirk) Anthony.
He served in the U.S. Air Force, Korean era, and achieved the rank of sergeant.
Warren enjoyed bowling at the Slate Bowl in Slatington.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are: son, Keith W. of Towamensing Township; sister, Jeanette, wife of Ronald Hartman, of Towamensing Township; brother, Roy, and his wife, Deana, of Kunkletown; nieces and nephews.
