Christophor George Bertram, age 25 of Fyffe Ala., passed away June 23 at Murphree Seed Farm in DeKalb County as a result of a fall from a bucket that he was in trimming trees.Funeral services were held the following Saturday at 1 p.m. at Perry Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Jerry Patton officiating. Burial will follow in Cherokee Memory Gardens. Flowers will be accepted but donations to Huntsville Hospital Childrens Wing were the preferred memorial.

Mr. Bertram is survived by wife, Keshia Ann Bertram, and infant daughter, Lashia Rosemae Bertram, both of Fyffe, Ala.; parents, Arthur J. and Vicky Bertram, of Leesburg; brothers, Arthur Alvin Bertram and Renee John Bertram, both of Leesburg; sister, Nancy Mae Parkinson, of Leesburg; and grandmother, Brenda Temple, of Attalla, Ala.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.He was born in Sandusky, Mich. and was employed at Murphree Seed Farm.
