Mary Virginia Jones, 77, of Finchville, Kentucky died Monday May 9,2016 in Louisville, Kentucky.
On September 29, 1938 God shared a great blessing with the world. An Angel, that showered an enthusiastic love of life and an unconditional love and support for her family.
Mary was a native of Spencer County, Kentucky.
She was born to James and Corine Gilbert Cochran.
After the death of her mother she and her siblings were raised by her grandparents, Lilburn and Flora Gilbert.
She was baptized at an early age into the congregation at
Mount Zion Baptist Church, Campbranch, Kentucky.
She later attented Centennial Baptist Church, Christianburg,
Kentucky, were she worked tirelessly in the kitchen.
She was employed by Class C Solutions Group (formerly Curtis Industries) for 40 years and worked until June of 2015.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Corine Cochran; sisters, Betty Stivers, Brenda Brooks, brother, James
(Obby) Cochran.

Survivors include her husband, William (Billy), daughters, Ada, Constance, son, William, grandchildren, Ashlee, Joshua,
Briceson, Dekota, Ashton, and Justin,
Great-grandchildren, M.J.,Anari,and Elijah,
sister, Barbara, brothers, Carl and Lilburn.

Funeral service at Shannon Funeral Home with Rev. Norris Beckley officiating.
Burial in Mt.Zion Baptist Church Cemetery, Spencer County Kentucky, Campbranch, Ky.
