Born in Jenners, June 15, 1922, she was a daughter of the late James and Nellie Ditkewich Ross.
Jennie was the widow of Albert J. Abrachinsky Jr., who passed away July 31, 2008.
She had worked as a machine operator in the textile industry.
Jennie was a member of St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville, and was a former member of Mary Queen of Peace Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, Jennie is preceded in death by two daughters, Joanne Baumann and Sandra Webber; two brothers, Charles and Joseph Ross.
She is survived by a daughter, Leona Matz and her husband, Steve, Pottsville; a son, Leo Walchak and his wife, Donna, Liverpool; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Mary Ann Leibel and her husband, Norman, Greentown; nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church, Pottsville. A viewing will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass on Monday at the church. Interment will follow mass at Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
