After battling a long illness, Melody J. Broaddus, passed away April 11, 2004.
She is survived by her husband, James; parents, Shirley and William Queen; two daughters, Rebecca and Denise; three grandchildren, Chloe, Grace and Tony; a brother, Barry and his family: wife, Geri, sons, Scott and Jonathan; sister, Carolyn and her family: husband, Kevin and sons, Justin and Mark. She has many aunts, uncles and cousins in the Ohio and Kentucky areas including Ranny and Ellen, Timmy and Sandra, Donny and Pat.
The family will receive friends at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Virginia Beach, today from 6 to 9 p.m. A funeral will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Kempsville Church of God with burial in Colonial Grove Memorial Park.
