Born June 18, 1951, in Long Beach, Calif. Passed away October 9, 2006, in Lancaster, Calif. He has gone to meet our Lord and is now at peace from his 2 year battle with cancer. He worked for Boeing for 33 years and made great friends. Greg also announced Palmdale High School Varsity football for 13 years. Touchdown Falcons! He was much loved and will be greatly missed. Greg is survived by his wife of 35 years, Kathy, who loved and cared for him until the end, father, Harold Von Lossberg and wife Maryann, mother, Joan Hornick, children, Erica Halverstadt and husband Roger, Ryan Von Lossberg and wife Gina, and Justin Von Lossberg, brother, Curt Von Lossberg and wife Dara, sisters, Christy Von Lossberg, and Gretchen Shetler and husband Dan, grandchildren, Dustin, Ashley, Ryan, Jacob, Deegan, Morgan, and Shay. Preceded in death by his stepfather, Dave Hornick. Services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, October 13, 2006, at Chapel of the Valley Mortuary with interment to follow at Desert Lawn Memorial Park both in Palmdale.
