Mrs. Francis Mikels died Saturday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the family residence, 628 South Sixteenth street, after a lingering illness of several years. She was 56 years old and was a member of the M.E. church at Stockwell. She is survived by the husband, George Mikels, one son, John Crosby, of Indianapolis, and one brother, Joseph Baker, of this city. Funeral services were held from the family residence Monday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment at Conroe cemetery.
