Mrs. Mary Virginia Atcheson age 75, of Dallas Georgia passed away Wednesday December 23, 2009, at her home surrounded by her loving family.

Mrs. Atcheson was born on January 25, 1934 in Paulding County, the daughter of the late Mr. Nelson Camp and Mrs. Lorene Lawrence Camp. She was a member of Martinville Baptist Church. She worked for Western Union. She had many hobbies including cooking, writing poetry and reading her bible, but her greatest love was her family and friends.

Mrs. Atcheson is survived by her beloved husband of 59 years Reverend Doyal Richard Atcheson; 1 son Mr. & Mrs. Jim (Carla) Atcheson, 1 daughter Mr. & Mrs. Rick (Dorese) King all of Dallas, Ga; 8 grandchildren Star Brady, Nikia Brady, Crystal Brady, Mike O’Kelley Jr., Chelsie King, Natalie Atcheson, Alicia Atcheson, & Kimberly Atcheson; 6 great grandchildren Aidon Brady, Chezney Brady, Seth Said, Destiny Whitfield, Tristian Whitfield, & Dakotah King; as well as many other beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her loving parents and 1 daughter Patty Brady.

Funeral services for Mrs. Atcheson will be held at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home Sunday December 27, 2009 at 3 PM with Reverend Donnie Evans and Reverend Ray Childers officiating. Pall bearers will include Mike O’Kelley Jr., Nikia Brady, Ayman Said, Tommy Lawrence, Russell Lawrence, Ricky Freeman and Terry Freeman. Interment will follow at Dallas Memory Gardens.

The family of Mrs. Atcheson will receive friends at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Saturday December 26, 2009 from 2 PM until 9 PM.
