Mr. Henry J. Hoebeke, age 83, died Thursday evening, Sept. 5, 1996. He was a life resident of Muskegon, born May 10, 1913, to James & Grace (Kroeze) Hoebeke.

Mr. Hoebeke had been employed at Anaconda Wire & Cable for over 40 years; and at the time of his retirement, in 1972, was a Plant Manager. He was a member of Allen Ave. Christian Reformed Church, where had served terms as an Elder and Deacon. Mr. Hoebeke was a Past President of the Muskegon United Evangelism Assoc. Board, past Vice-President of the Muskegon City Rescue Mission Board, past volunteer for C.R.W.R.C., past Junior Achievement Board Member; and former member of the Century Club and Chamber of Commerce.

On June 26, 1940, he married the former Evelyn Holtrop in Spring Lake; and survives him along with one daughter, Lavonne (Terry) Langeland; 5 grandchildren; 2 sisters,(The rest of the obit was clipped off (pasted on an index card))
