Born to Jerry and Lydia (Kratky) Chapek April 13, 1919 in Jim Falls, WI. He grew up on a dairy farm near Cobban with two older brotherd Ray and Joe. He married Sally Kane March 30, 1940 and together they had seven beautiful children that they loved dearly. For work Jerry dairy farmed for 41 years as well as bought and sold cattle and machinery with his brother Joe. During retirement he and Sally moved to Lake Holcome and lived on the lake for 17 years. In 1998 Jerry and Sally moved to Cadott to be closer to family. Jerry loved fishing, hunting, playing cards, laughing, and his family.
