Mrs. Eliza Bone, widow of the late James Bone, died Sunday at her home in Sharpesburg township, aged 84. Mrs. Bone had been in feeble health for a long time but her death was quite sudden. Two years or more ago she was seriously injured by a fall but recovered sufficiently to walk.
Mrs. Bone is survived by three daughters: Mrs. Addie E. Stephenson, of Statesville; Mrs. C. M. Hill, of Sharpesburg, with whom she lived, and Mrs. H. L. Morrison, of Scotts, and a sister, Mrs. Sue Wagner of Statesville. She was a life-lone member of the Methodist Church, an earnest Christian and was in many respects a superior woman. The funeral services took place at Snow Creek church yesterday afternoon, conducted by her pastor, Rev. T. E. Weaver, and the remains were interred there.
