She married Maj. Dallas Richard Scherck on January 4, 1958. She spent her childhood and her adult life as an Army child and then as an Army wife. Shelia was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed many years serving in the Orlando Temple. She loved learning and received her degree in Hospitality Management from FSCJ. She and Dallas loved traveling around the world.
Shelia is fondly referred to as Tutu by many family and friends.
Family members include her husband of 58 years, Dallas, daughter Tami L. Scherck, son James D. Scherck (Tawnya) of Idaho, grandchildren Richard A. Preston (Amellia), Brandi M. Burbank, Hannah Scherck and Alyssa Scherck, great-grandchildren, Cayla, Amerria, Savannah, Victoria, Derek and Harliee, brothers Sheldon (Vonnie) and Ronald (Linda), sister-in-law Pat and many loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is predeceased by her parents, brothers Kenneth and Norman.
