In Dec of 1880 he married one of those children, Susan Marie Campbell and they had two children: Eva and John Howard.
Susan died in 1887 when both children were under five years of age. John remarried Mary M Clapp about 6 years later. That couple had a son, Floyd Guy born in 1894 in Nebraska.
John passed away at the age of 63.
