Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Harry Richard Bray, Jr., and brothers, Raymond A. and James D. Byrd.
Helen was a kind, loving, generous and compassionate woman who always placed others ahead of herself. She was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend, who will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Helen worked many years for Home Security Life Insurance Company. After retiring, she and her husband lived in Virginia where they developed a sub-division, Sunny Cove Farm, adjacent to Hillsville, VA.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 14, 2016 at Yates Baptist Church. Officiating will be Rev. John Frederick and Rev. Christopher Ingram. Interment will follow at Maplewood Cemetery.
