She was the second of seven children born to Ira D. and Wilma Etta McBride Hart.
Pauletta grew up in Anadarko, Caddo County, Oklahoma and graduated from high school there with the Class of 1952.
She attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma, and on September 3, 1954, married Edvin Leon Wilson of Walters.
He preceded her in death on March 6, 1996.
She married N. Dale Talkington on August 27, 2003 and he survived her in Stillwater, Payne County, Oklahoma.
Other survivors included son Tommy Wilson and wife Chrissy of Houston, Harris County Texas, and daugher Trisha Callis and husband Mitch of McKinney, Collin County, Texas.
Surviving grandchildren were Kimberly, Greg, Robert and Kelly Wilson of Houston; and Kenneth and Kevin Callis of McKinney.
Surviving step-children were Mark, Craig, and Jane Talkington, and Sarah Figarola. Surviving step-grandchildren were Wilson Miller, Jack Talkington, Ruby and Patrick Quinn, Alexia and Alecia Talkington, and Tulio Holdon Figarola.
Pauletta's siblings were Ira, Gordon, and Joe David Hart, Carole McCarthy, and Julane Taylor.
Her brother Allen Mac Hart died on June 23, 2008, and is buried in Memory Lane Cemetery, Anadarko.
Funeral services were held at 2 pm on Saturday, September 30, 2006 at the Hart-Wyatt Funeral Home in Walters.
