Mrs. Barbara Richards Williams, 88, of Granite Falls passed away Wednesday, April 06, 2022 at her home following a period of declining health.
Barbara was born in Catawba County, NC to the late William Richards and Lois Watson Richards. She was a member of Concord Baptist Church. She worked in the payroll department at General Electric.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Earl Williams, Jr.; and son, Richard Williams.
Survivors include her son, Bobby Williams and wife Brenda of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Christie Martin of Hickory, Bobby Williams and wife Brandie of Granite Falls, and Lindsey Williams of Granite Falls; great grandchildren, Cali Martin, Caleb Martin, Kassidy Yates, Dallas Williams, Kinsley Williams, and Lillian Williams; and sister-in-law Becky Richards of Maiden.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 8, 2022 from 1:00PM to 2:00PM at Concord Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Friday, April 8, 2022 at Concord Baptist Church with the Rev. Tom McDonald, Rev. Dennis Richards, and Rev. Ted Williams officiating.
Interment will follow at Temple Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
