Rachel Frances McAllister Pinkston Price was born in Spencer County, Kentucky on September 1, 1925. She passed from this world on March 3, 2016 at Baptist Healthcare in Jefferson County, Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Henry and Susie Kelien McAllister. She attended the First Baptist Church of Taylorsville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Kenny Price and four brothers, Jessie, Fred, Leonard and Wilmer McAllister, and two sisters, Gertie Armstrong, Henrietta Buttrey and one grandson, Tylen Pinkston and her first husband Charles D. Pinkston Sr. Her survivors include two sons. five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

She worked in Taylorsville for several years. She then worked in Louisville at Jerry's, Denny's Restaurant as a waitress for 39 1/2 years and retired at the age of 87 in 2012.
Her hobbies were making baskets and painting Christmas Gourds.

Funeral at 11:00 a.m. March 5th, 2016 at the Greenwell-Houghlin Funeral with Bro. Gary Mills officiating. Interment at Valley Cemetery in Taylorsville, Kentucky.
