James E. Williams, 87 of Taylorsville, passed away the 2nd day of March, 2016 at Signature Healthcare of Spencer County. A native of Spencer County, Kentucky, he was born to the late Earl Rudolph and Louise Shelburne Williams.
A member of the First Baptist Church of Taylorsville, Kentucky, he was a farmer and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a former Director of the Spencer County Farm Bureau and of the Spencer County Extension Office, and formerly served on the Spencer County A.S.C.S. Committee. His memberships also included the American Legion.
