Bryson City - Kaura Grace Gracie Lea Nichols, 3 months old, infant daughter of Charles Nichols and Laura Woody of Bryson City, winged her way to Jesus on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006.

She was loved by everyone who met her and had a smile for everyone. Gracie was preceded in death by her grandfathers, Dr. Roger Woody and Thurman Andrews and great-grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Jay Woody, Charles Nichols, Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Andrews, Raymond Tutterow and Gene Nata.

She was the precious granddaughter of Jean Andrews of Bryson City. She is also survived by her sister, Kallie Ann Woody of Bryson City and great-grandmother, Grace Nata of Jefferson, La. She was the loving niece of Leisha Andrews of Bryson City and is survived by special cousins, Caitlan, Cierra and Chace Andrews of Bryson City. Gracie is also survived by her grandmother, Mary Ann Woody of Easley, S.C.; great-grandmother, Hilda Tutterow of Greenville, S.C.; aunt, Cherlynn McIntyre of Texas; cousin, Charlie McIntyre of Texas; and numerous great aunts, uncles, cousins and a very special aunt, Angelle Zarate of Virginia Beach, Va.

Visitation was held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at Bill Moody Funeral Home in Bryson City.

The funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cold Springs Baptist Church in Bryson City, with Pastors Earl King and Kenneth Jones officiating.

Interment will be at Bill Moody Memorial Park in Bryson City.

Arrangements are being handled by Bill Moody Funeral Home, 285 Main St., Bryson City.
