IRA RICHARD CASH

Ira Richard "Dick" Cash, 75, of Charleston passed away at home on Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007, after a long illness. Born in Diamond, he was the son of the late Ira and Myrtle Cash.

Dick was a graduate of Dupont High School and Morris-Harvey. He was an Army veteran and retired from Union Carbide.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Steven Brian Cash; stepdaughter, Sherri Anderson; and sisters, Gloria Motts and Sonia Browning.

Dick will be missed by all who knew him, including his loving wife, Donna Jo Cash; son, Richard David Cash of St. Albans; stepson, Bill Coles Jr. and his wife, Melissa, of Scott Depot; grandsons, Christopher Cash of St. Albans and Jeremy Cash of Dunbar; great-grandson, Brandon Cash; step-grandchildren, Sarah and Matt Coles of Scott Depot; and a sister, Donna Fawcett of Missouri.

The family would like to thank his caregivers, Tammy Westfall, Marry Mullins and Jobeth Nicholas.

A service to honor the life of Dick Cash will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Sept. 28, at Snodgrass Funeral Home with Pastor Jody Pistore officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Park.

Family and friends will visit from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Snodgrass Funeral Home, MacCorkle Avenue SW, South Charleston, is handling arrangements.
