She was born in Kittanning, Pennsylvania on September 14, 1921 the daughter of Charles and Lottie (Heffelfinger) Brown. She was of the Christian Faith and many years ago worked in the maintenance department at the Eastwood Mall.
Bertha is survived by three daughters, Peggy (John) Campbell of Warren, Nancy (Sherman) Sparks of Grayson, Kentucky, Martha Allen of Champion; 13 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Harry A. Bowser who died on December 11, 1976; a son, Ronald Bowser; two brothers and four sisters.
Burial will be in Kerr Cemetery.
