Brinkley “Buddy” Allsbrook, Jr., 78, passed away on Tuesday, February 23, 2016.
A funeral service will be held Friday, 2:30 pm at Carlisle Funeral Home with Don McKinney officiating. Burial will follow in Edgecombe Memorial Park.
He was born in Edgecombe County to the late Brinkley and Mattie Phillips Allsbrook. Buddy played the guitar as well as other instruments and had a love for country music.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Annette Stout.
He is survived by a loving family which includes his sisters, Melba Allsbrook, Nancy Cross, both of Richmond, VA, Johnny Faye Taylor, of Tarboro; brother, Rudy Allsbrook and wife, Janice C., of Tarboro; and several nieces, nephews and cousins that he loved dearly.
The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday at Carlisle Funeral Home from 7:00-9:00 pm and other times at 1915 Howard Ave., Tarboro.
