Catherine Elizabeth Coffey Marrin died on February 21, 2016 surrounded by her family. Born to parents, Don Carlos Coffey and Catherine Louise Genter on September 20, 1948 in Indianapolis, Indiana she grew up in the state of Kentucky and graduated from East Harden High School in 1966. She worked in Civil Service and as a volunteer in church, government, and genealogy where she was the local director of the LDS family research center for over five years. Recognized for her volunteer efforts by the U.S. Army with the Joan of Arc Medal and the state of Kansas for digitizing index records. She was a loving wife and mother and is survived by her husband, Jeffery Louise Vaughn Marrin, three daughters, April, Kathleen, and Jennifer, and her four siblings, Donnie, Karen, David, and Debbie. Funeral service will be held 10:30 AM, Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 10th and Limit, Leavenworth, KS. Burial will follow in the Leavenworth National Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to Davis Funeral Chapel.
