Son of Henry T. Lawson and Mary May Henderson. Husband of Frances Idell McClellan. Father of fourteen children. Born in Kentucky, a WWI Veteran, worked the coal mines and timbers in West Virginia as a young man, was a logger and farmer in Illinois until he retired and moved to California. Was the GGG-Grandson of William Lawson 1731-1826 who was a Scottish upriser and is a qualifier for the SAR-DAR.
