Dorris Briel “D.B.” Shouldiers, 70, of Signal Mountain, TN., died on Tuesday, September 18, 2007 in a local hospital.
He was born in Clay County, TN., to the late Willie and Myrtle Lorene (Davis) Shouldiers, and he was of the Baptist faith.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Reba (Bowman) Shouldiers of Signal Mountain; sons, James Shouldiers of Rossville, GA., Johnny Shouldiers of Flintstone, GA., Siblings, Albert Shouldiers of Dunlap, TN., Lester Shouldiers of North Carolina, Billy Shouldiers of Sparta, TN., Martha Gossett, and Prentice Ivey both of Dunlap, TN.; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the chapel with Rev. Bill Proctor officiating. Interment will follow in the Calvary Gardens Cemetery and Mausoleum in Fort Oglethorpe, GA.
