Kenny Ferguson Koon, 45, of Perry, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at Doctor's Memorial Hospital in Perry. Kenny was born April 19, 1968 in Perry, Fl, to Avon Koon Sr.
and Lola Brooke Ferguson.
Mr. Koon was of the Assembly of God Faith and attended First Assembly of God in Perry as a young man. He loved to landscape and work in his yard, and truly enjoyed grilling out with family and friends. Mr. Koon was preceded in death by his biological parents Avon Kenny Koon and Lola Brooke Gear formerly Ferguson, and by his parents that raised him Kelly and Goldie Ferguson, his brother Mark Ferguson and sister Linda Gear.
He is survived by his wife of 9 years Tonye Knight Koon of Perry, FL; brothers Billy Ferguson, Alvis Ferguson, Matthew Ferguson, Jimmy Gear, and Billy Gear; sisters Linda Philman, Rita Parker, Alice Fay Cruce, Lucinda Sherouse, Martha Jane Lewis, Angie Duty, Brenda Gear, Mary Gear, and Samantha Gear; and very special friends Karen Bodiford and Dennis Necket as well as many nieces and nephews also survive him..
