Funeral will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Village Chapel for Marie Ford Hathcock, 90, of Alabama City, who died August 21, 2014. The Rev. Steve Minyard and Gary Munson will officiate. Burial will take place at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Hathcock was retired from Riverview Regional Medical Center after 35 years' service and was a member of Smith's Chapel Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, the Rev. Roy Hathcock.
She is survived by her chosen son, Ronnie (Brenda) Robershaw; stepdaughters, Jane (Gary) Ford and Nancy Bickerstaff; numerous nieces and nephews; special friends, Maxine Rodriguez, Alice Minyard; and the staff and residents of Cherry Creek Village.
The nephews will serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends today from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
