Ernest J. Watts, 63, of route 5, Lumberton, died yesterday at the Robeson County Memorial hospital after an illness of several years.

Funeral plans are incomplete, pending the arrival of relatives. Burial will be in New Hollywood cemetery.

A prominent farmer of Wisharts township and a veteran of World War I, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lillie Smith Watts; four daughters, Mrs. Sam Paul, route 1, Lumberton, Doris, Marilyn, and Sandra Watts, of the home; five sons, Sgt. Clifford Watts, Charleston Ervin Watts, Salisbury, Randolph Watts. Dunn, E. J. Watts, route 5, and Garland Watts of the home. One son, Rexford Watts, was killed in World War II
