A private graveside service will be today in Meadowbrook Cemetery, the Rev. Mike Carter officiating.
She was born in Robeson County. She was the daughter of the late Lee Ollie and Joanna Smith Lane.
Hendren was a member of the East Lumberton Baptist Church and a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Walton Hendren.
Surviving are a son, John Walton Hendren Jr. of Lumberton; a daughter, Barbara Ann McNeill of Belle Glade, Fla.; a brother, Paul Lane of Lumberton; two sisters, Frances Cameron of Lumberton and Anna Lee Spivey of Hertford; five grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
They will greet friends following the service under the direction of Biggs Funeral Home.
