Road, Barnardsville, passed away Friday, Feb. 11,2005. .
Mrs. Mundy was horn Aug. 14, 1918, in Buncombe
County, where she had lived all of her life.
Mrs. Mundy worked for a number of years at The Had-
ley Corporation in Weaverville. Her life revolved around
her church and her family. She was a member of Paint
Fork Freewill Baptist Church, where she formerly. taught.
Sunday school. .
Mrs. Mundy was the daughter of the late JohnNelson
and Mae Belle Ingle Burrell and wife of Morris M.
Mundy, who died July 24, 2004. She was also preceded in
death by her granddaughters, Sharon M. Harwood and
Shelia Fox; sister, Gladys Mundy; and brother, Eldredge
Burrell. .
Surviving are her two daughters, Grace Mundy Hyder
- and husband, Richard, of Weaverville and Alma Mundy
Coates and husband, the Rev. Larry Coates, of Bar-
nardsville; two sons, John W. Mundy and wife, Margaret,
of Hendersonville and Can:o D. Muridy of Barnardsville;
sister; Dale Duyck f Barnardsville; brothers, Ralph Bur-
. rell and William B. Burrell, both of Barnardsville; grand-
children, Gerald Hyder and wife, Linda, •Gary Hyder arrd
