Pinky Britt 71, of Rt. 2 Lumberton, died Saturday in McCain Hospital after an extended illness.

Funeral services will be held Sunday at 4pm at the Long Branch Baptist church, with Rev. Randolph Browning and Rev. Norman Wheeler officiating. Burial will follow in the Walters Family Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.C. (Maggie) Salmon of Jacksonville, FL., and Mrs. Edison (Myrtle Ruth) Britt of Lumberton; two sons, B.P. Britt and Henry Harold Britt, both of Lumberton; two half-sisters, Mrs. Lilly Hardin of St Pauls and Mrs. Annie Lee Shearer of Fayetteville, three half-brothers, Edison Britt Sr. of Lumberton, R.B. and Henry Britt, both of St Pauls; 15 grandchild and 11 great-grandchildren.

The family will be at the home of Henry Harold Britt, Rt 2, Lumberton.

Pallbearers were; E.L. Hux, Mitchell Taylor, Budd Parker, George Rice, Jimmy Fipps and Jimmy Edmunds. Honorary pallbearers were; members of the church's adult Men's Sunday School class.

In charge of flowers were; Mrs. Lannie Stone, assisted by Mmes. Ruby Rice, Ava Gray Britt, Rose Hardin, Inez Beasley, Janet Oliver, Geneive Ledbetter, Margaret Ann Fowler and Gerotha Cox.

Music was provided by the Church Choir, they sang; "What a Friend We Have in Jesus" and "Rock of Ages".
