Earl Harry Aufdembrink, 79, Springfield, MO, formerly of Monett, MO and Kansas City,MO, passed away Saturday morning, February 6, 2016, at the Missouri Veterans Home in
Mt. Vernon, MO.

Earl was born on September 10, 1936 in Freistatt, MO, son of the late Walter Theodore and Viola (Kaiser) Aufdembrink.

He is survived by his wife, Loeta Aufdembrink; daughter, Deanne R. Aufdembrink,Kansas City, MO; Sister-in-law, Geri Aufdembrink, of Nixa , MO; two step-children,
Jeannie Nelson and husband George, of St. Charles, MO; Fred Aufdembrink and wifeNadine, of Norfolk, NE; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Earl proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army. Providing MOS for Ground Control Approach, being assigned to the Military District of Washington,
D.C. He was stationed at Davidson Army Airfield, Transportation Center for thePentagon.

Earl also had a degree in Electrical Engineering. He worked 25 years for WesternElectric Manufacturing Division of Bell Lab’s, later AT&T Technologies, and finally Lucent/Alcatel, as a Product Testing Engineer.

Earl was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Freistatt. He served 7years a church Treasurer. Earl was also instrumental in the set up and installation
of both the sound and broadcast systems. He continued his service in engineering, working as an Announcer and Broadcast Engineer for Trinity Lutheran Church Radio
Broadcast.

Earl was a 27 year member of the American Legion Post 419 of Freistatt… and served as Finance Officer for more than 10 years.

Earl is preceded in death by his parents, Walter & Viola Aufdembrink; brother, Ray Lynn Aufdembrink; and nephew, Phillip Aufdembrink.

Funeral services for Mr. Aufdembrink will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February
9, 2016 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Freistatt with Reverend Ken Lampe
officiating.

Interment and military honors will be at the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at the Church on Tuesday.

Memorial contributions are being directed to the Trinity Lutheran Church Radio Broadcast or the charity of your choice in care of the funeral home.

Monett, MO.
