Earl D. Holland, 86, 120 E. Sixth St., died Saturday at Dukes Memorial Hospital. He was born Aug. 12, 1896, in Logansport, to James and Mina Lowman Holland. He was married in 1923? to Marth(sic) Donat, who died in 1968.
He was retired from Square D Company, Peru. He was a member of St. Charles Catholic Church, Knights of Columbus, Literary Aid, Peru Maennchor, Moose Lodge, Eagles Lodge and VFW.
Surviving are three daughters, Martha Opple and Adeline Clark, both of Peru, and Margaret Killian, Rochester; three sons, John and Dan, both of Peru and Robert, Oconomowac, Wisc.; a brother, George, Peru; a sister, Agnes Rentzel, Peru; 16 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be noon Tuesday at St. Charles Catholic Church, with the Rev. Robert Sell officiating. Burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery. Friends may call from 6 to 0 Monday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home, where the rosary will be recited at 8:30 p.m.
