Margie L. Salmon, 67, passed away on Thursday, May 9, 2002. Born in Lumberton, NC, she lived in Jacksonville most of her life. Known by many as "Aunt Margie" she was loved and respected by everyone and will be missed by all.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband, Ervin C. Salmon and her son Cliff. Her survivors include 2 daughters; Gloria (Archie) and Gail, 3 granddaughters; Amy, Angie and Allison; 4 great-grandchildren; a sister and brother. Myrtle Ruth Britt and Harold (Christine) Britt both of Lumberton, NC.
Funeral services will be held at 3pm Saturday at Corey-Kerlin Funeral Home, 940 Cesery Blvd with Rev. James P. Crosby officiating. A private graveside service will be held at a later date. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, North Florida Chapter or your charity of choice.
