Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Wilson have received word of the death of Mrs. Druehl, which occurred recently in Salt Lake city. Mrs. Druehl passed several winters at the Mission Inn and is pleasantly remembered by a circle of warm friends in this city. Commenting editorially on Mrs. Druehl's death the Salt Lake Evening Telegraph says:

"The death of Mrs. Druehl leaves a home utterly desolate and calls from the highest ranks of society a winsome woman. Her presence was a benediction to these streets for years. She was a perfect wife and mother, neighbor and friend; her influence was a blessing to all within her circle; her death is an unspeakable sorrow in her home, a profound loss to all who knew her. She had long been a great sufferer; what she was should be a comforting thought to those whose lives were incorporated with hers. The sympathies of the city go out in full measure to the stricken family."

Note: All references other than her death certificate (1850) and headstone (1851) indicate she was born in 1848.
