Dorothy Jean Bass, 58, of Chaffee died Sept. 10, 2006, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born April 23, 1948, in Keyser, WV, daughter of John and Effie Clark Shannon.
She and Spencer Bass were married April 10, 1984.
Survivors include her husband; a son, Spencer Bass II of Chaffee, MO; six daughters, Robin Parker of Florida; Beatrice Campbell of Las Vegas, NV; Tammy Bradley of Clearwater, FL; Ann Crawford of La Center, KY; Ruth Harrison and Samantha Bass of Chaffee, MO; a brother, John Clark of California; three sisters, Marcie Newsome of Utah City, UT; Darlene Bancink of Star City, WV; Mary Gibbons of California; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
