Born in Easley, SC, he was the son of the late Crayton and Ellen Alexander.
Mr. Alexander served in the U.S. Navy at the end of World War II. He was a member of Calvary First Baptist Church for over 50 years. He was a wonderful husband and father and loved camping and hunting.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by four children, Terry Lee Alexander (Dianne), James C. Alexander (Linda), Donna Alexander Richards (Gene) and Gary Hampton Alexander; six grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Burial: Graceland Cemetery West.
