She was the step mother of 2 girls Ivy 1890 and Ada Griffith 1893. and Mother of 5 boys Merle 1897,Jesse 1899,Charlie 1902,Berty 1904 and Loran Griffith 1906. she was born Ida Martin in Dallas county Missouri of parents John R Martin and Lavona Sara Jones. Ida Passed away 14 months after the birth of her son Loran about March of 1907 at this time the location of her resting place is in question. Loran was born in Noel Missouri Jan 1906 and by the 1910 census James and the boys and Lavona are living in Sunny Slope Oklahoma. in Creek county near Milfay.
