Eunice “Louise” Abrams, age 87 of Metropolis, Illinois passed away at 12:07 am on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home in Metropolis.

Rev. Joe Buchanan and Rev. Cliff Easter will officiate. Burial will follow in the Metropolis Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Abrams was a member of the Metropolis First Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Eunice Little and companion Malcolm Bishop of London, England; three granddaughters, Angel Gore and husband Kyle, Melanie Borders and husband Jamie, Brooke Rodgers and husband Michael all of Paducah; two great granddaughters, Danielle Brame and fiancé Logan McGregor, and Tori Brame all of Calvert City; one step great grandson, Caleb Borders of Paducah; three great great grandchildren, Chayden Brame, Landon and London McGregor, all of Calvert City; two brother-in-laws, Ted Abrams of Metropolis and Lee Blackwell of Mississippi; along with several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Julian and Ruth (Hood) Alford; her husband and love of her life, Ralph “Big Abe” Abrams; beloved son, Julian Abrams; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening January 19, 2016 from 6 to 8 pm at the Aikins-Farmer Funeral Home.

Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to First Baptist Church Haiti School Project, 307 Massac Creek Road, Metropolis, Illinois 62960.
