Stephen Angelo, 91, passed away Monday, January 11, 2016 at Webster Manor.

He leaves behind his wife of 30 years, Ethel (Mitchell) Angelo, a son, Stephen R. Angelo of Webster, a daughter Crystal L. Cotto and her husband Kurt of Charlton, a daughter-in-law, Wendy B. Angelo of Webster, 3 grandsons, a grand-daughter, a great grandson, 2 sisters, Evelyn Belanger and Liberty Brassard both of Webster, a sister-in-law and brother-in-law Pauline and William Waldron of Sutton and many nieces and nephews.

Steve was born in Douglas, the son of the late Evangelos and Helen (Binolas) Angelo and lived in Webster many years. He was predeceased by his first wife Theresa M. (LeClair) Angelo who died September 9, 1980. Steve was also predeceased by a son Jeffrey V. Angelo who died August 9, 2015, a brother, Soter 'Sam' Angelo, died March 18, 2014, and a sister Julia Angelo.

Steve proudly served his country in the U. S. Army during WWII, and was at D-Day plus 3, Normandy, France at Sword Beach and continued in the European Theater for 18 months.

He was a past member of the American Legion Post# 184, a member of Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, enjoyed playing the piano and following the New England Patriots.

He was the owner operator of Nipmuc Liquors from 1972 to the present and Nipmuc Plaza Realty.

Calling Hours for Steve will be Thursday, January 14, 2016 from 9-10:30 AM at the ROBERT J. MILLER FUNERAL HOME and LAKE CHAPEL, 366 School St.

A Funeral Service will be at 11AM Thursday, January 14, 2016 in Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 35 Lake Parkway, burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery
