In the 1880 and 1900 Censuses, Charles is living with his parents and siblings in Cincinnati, Hamilton County, Ohio.

In the 1910 Census, Charles and wife, Esther, are living in Newport, Campbell County, Kentucky.

Charles was the Manager of the Frederick Hotel in Huntington, Cabell County, West Virginia, from at least 1918 through 1920, as is evidenced by his WWI Draft Registration Card in 1918 and the Directory there in 1920.

Charles and Esther were living in Chicago in the 1930 and 1940 Censuses. He was still living there in 1942 during the WWII Draft Registration.

It does not appear that they had any children.
